Faux cables are used across these two patterns. The vest top is adorned with a key hole button fastening at the back neck and the neckband makes the shoulder straps which makes a lovely design feature.
You will need: A pair of 3¼mm (UK 10 - USA 3) knitting needles, a pair of 4mm (UK 8 - USA 6) knitting needles, cable needle, stitch markers, stitch holders, 1 button, 1.5cm, ½in.
