Simple to sew and incredibly versatile, this top-and-trouser co-ord makes an instant outfit, staple separates for layering, or even a chic faux jumpsuit. Whether you’re a beginner or more experienced stitcher, our signature step-by-step photo instructions will make the Esti co-ord a speedy and satisfying sewing project.

Top:

• Chic square neckline

• Fabric (see below)
• Matching thread
• For the top: 0.5m (5/8yd) interfacing (similar weight to your fabric)
• For the bottoms: Your waist measurement in 25mm (1in) wide elastic
• For the bottoms: 2 x large safety pins

Light-to medium-weight woven fabrics. Try linen or chambray, or viscose (rayon) or Tencel (lyocell) for a drapier look.
