Our second demonstration day will be on September 8th 2018 and is all about dressmaking. Our expert dressmaker Sue will be demonstrating how to sew a denim skirt at 11am and a jersey top at 2pm on a basic sewing machine (no special equipment required).
Sue has lots of useful hints and tips on how to sew these sometimes tricky fabrics. She will also be available all day to o answer any of your questions.
These items are currently available in our shop window. If this inspires you to make your own clothes, we have a wide range of fabrics available in store and online.
There is no need to book for this demonstration day.
Sue is our resident dressmaking expert. She has a wealth of experience of dressmaking having worked with many different types of fabrics. She has encountered many problems with difficult fabrics and can help you overcome these.
